How does travel work for shoots outside Schwerin?
Outside Schwerin I charge €0.50 per kilometer. I haven’t set a distance cap. Being on the road is honestly one of the parts of this work I enjoy most. For short sessions we’ll just work out together whether the travel makes sense for what you’re booking. For weddings or longer jobs, distance is rarely an issue.

How do deposits and cancellations work?
For larger bookings like weddings I take a 30 % deposit. If you cancel, the deposit stays with me. If we reschedule, it carries over to the new date. And if I have to cancel, you of course get the deposit back. For smaller shoots I don’t usually take a deposit at all.

When will I have my photographs?
For shorter shoots (one to two hours), within a week. For live shows I send a handful of the strongest shots the next day as a sneak peek, with the rest following within the same week. For half- or full-day shoots, give it up to four weeks.

Who chooses which images I get?
I do. The number in each package is more of a floor than a ceiling. If a shoot gave me 20 frames I’m proud of, you’ll get all 20, even if you booked 15. Tucking beautiful moments away on a hard drive isn’t something I’m very good at.

Can I have the RAW files?
I don’t hand RAWs over. Editing is part of how I work, and part of what makes the images look like mine. What you get back is the finished piece, the way I see it.

What can I do with the photographs?
Use them however you like. On social media please tag me and add a photo credit; in print, please credit me as well. If I want to use one of your images for my own promotion on social media, I’ll always ask you first. For my portfolio I may show a few as examples of my work. That part is in the agreement.
Still something on your mind?
Send me a note about what you’re still wondering. I usually get back within 48 hours.
